Description The Westfield Area YMCA is looking for a caring and compassionate individual to work as an EMT in our summer camp program with children between the ages of 3-15 years old. At the YMCA, we know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why strengthening community is our cause! You can be a part of that cause by joining our staff. Primary Responsibilities Responds to all emergencies that arise within camp and signs off on incident reports Responsible for maintaining camp first aid supplies and kits Assists in preparing allergy list for campers and reviewing proper medical procedures and prevention Assists with labeling and tracking of all medications for each camper Monitors and reviews the medical log books for each camp site Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Job Type: Seasonal June 1, 2026 – August 28, 2026 Requirements Must be a certified EMT or licensed RN/LPN Must have a driver's license and own transportation Must be a minimum of age 18 Strong organizational and communication skills Enjoys working with children

Responsibilities

The EMT will respond to emergencies at the camp and maintain first aid supplies. They will also assist with medical procedures and track medications for campers.
