Description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused End of Tenancy Property Manager to join our team. This role is key to ensuring smooth transitions between tenants and landlords, by carrying out pre-tenancy inspections, conducting checkouts, and coordinating with our maintenance team. You’ll be the bridge between tenants and landlords, helping tenants protect their deposits while reducing unnecessary repair costs for landlords.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre-tenancy inspections to assess property condition and advise tenants on any required actions before moving out.
  • Conduct end-of-tenancy checkouts, recording the property’s condition accurately and fairly.
  • Prepare detailed inspection and checkout reports, supported by clear evidence (photos, notes, etc.).
  • Advise and liaise with tenants to help them resolve issues and maximise deposit return.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to highlight repair needs, ensuring work is completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and landlords, handling queries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tenancy, lettings, and deposit legislation.
  • Support dispute resolution processes where required by providing accurate documentation and reports.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to build trust with both tenants and landlords.
  • Excellent attention to detail when inspecting and documenting property condition.
  • Practical understanding of property maintenance, wear-and-tear guidelines, and tenancy deposit regulations.
  • Ability to balance empathy with tenants and fairness for landlords.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
  • IT literate, with experience using property management or inspection software preferred.
  • A solutions-driven mindset, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues quickly.

Experience & Requirements

  • Previous experience in property management, lettings, or a related field is desirable.
  • Knowledge of end-of-tenancy procedures and deposit schemes is advantageous.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (where required).

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Training and support in property legislation and customer care.
  • Opportunities for career development within a growing property management business.
  • A dynamic, people-focused role where you can make a real difference to both tenants and landlords.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £15,000.00-£17,700.00 per year
