We are currently seeking an End User Support Specialist to be based 100% onsite in our Williamtown location.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will support various internal stakeholders with a full range of IT service support from desktop/application issues, to troubleshooting moderately complex delivery systems or network issues and escalating problems as appropriate.
To be successful you will have strong problem-solving skills coupled with a learning mindset, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. This along with your excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills will make you an ideal candidate.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

  • Experienced in the support of networked PCs running Windows-based software applications
  • At least 2 years’ experience in PC Support, with Windows 10.
  • Adept in supporting and setting up desktops, laptops and mobile devices;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Excellent time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong analytical, problem definition & resolution skills for problem solving;
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements with NV1 clearance mandatory and the ability to obtain an NV2 clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • A degree in computer science, industry certifications, or related industry degree

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Provide hardware, software and end-user technical support via phone, chat & self-service;
  • Manage and take ownership of IT request tickets through the entire lifecycle while updating relevant teams;
  • Assist with the rollout and setup of new starters computers and their profiles;
  • Install and support software, and provide basic informal user training;
  • Coordinate IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective collaboration across teams.
  • Troubleshoot solutions while providing exceptional customer experience.
  • Providing outside-of-hours support.
