REQUIREMENTS

• Medical degree and relevant specialty training completed.
• Current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Clinical attachment complete – We do not offer placements in the NHS
• Minimum of 6 months paid experience in the NHS/UK

• Provide expert clinical advice and support within your specialty area.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
• Diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, osteoporosis, metabolic bone diseases, lipid disorders, and other hormonal imbalances.
• Candidate to have MRCP and on the Specialist Register
• Providing specialized care for patients with chronic conditions like Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including the management of complications and associated conditions.
• Interpreting results from a variety of tests such as blood glucose monitoring, hormone level testing, thyroid function tests, DEXA scans, and others relevant to endocrinology
• Developing and implementing treatment plans which may include medication management, lifestyle advice, insulin therapy, and other interventions.
• Providing consultative services to other physicians or healthcare professionals and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
