OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Endodontic Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our endodontic services while providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with patients of all ages.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a dental clinic setting with a focus on endodontics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using Eaglesoft for managing patient records.
• Experience with medical coding and documentation is a plus.
• Ability to perform chairside assisting duties effectively while maintaining a positive patient experience.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.

  Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
• Manage patient flow and assist with endodontic procedures, including the use of medical imaging equipment.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date.
• Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans and provide support during procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and performing X-rays as needed.
• Ensure the clinic is equipped with necessary supplies and maintain an aseptic environment at all times.
• Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft and Romexis for efficient patient management.
