Description Asheville Dental Associates is seeking a Part-Time Endodontist to help us expand in-house specialty services, improve continuity of care for our patients, and support the long-term growth of our organization. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape an endodontic program within an established, high-performing general practice, with strong internal referral flow and long-term potential for expansion. About the Opportunity This role is ideal for an Endodontist who is excited about helping grow a specialty service line from the ground up. The position will initially focus on consultations and root canal therapy for internal referrals, with future opportunities to expand to external referrals and increased clinical days. Schedule Part-Time (2 days/week): Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Lunch 1:00 – 2:00 PM) Fridays: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (No lunch) What You’ll Do Perform endodontic consultations and root canal therapy for internal referrals Collaborate closely with general dentists to ensure continuity of care Help design and implement efficient endodontic workflows and scheduling protocols Provide input on equipment, supplies, and operatory setup (including microscope selection) Contribute to building a scalable specialty program with long-term growth potential What We’re Looking For DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school Completion of an Endodontic Residency Program Experienced Endodontists preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Interest in contributing to practice growth and program development Support & Resources Dedicated dental assistant assigned to support endodontic procedures Existing operatories with available chair time on designated days Established internal referral base from a strong general practice Compensation & Benefits Competitive Compensation package Services billed out-of-network under a specialty fee schedule Significant long-term earning potential as volume grows Growth Potential This role offers substantial long-term opportunity, including: Accepting external referrals from local general dentists Expansion into adjacent space as a specialty-only office Increased clinical days and chair availability Opportunity to help shape the future of specialty care within the practice Why Asheville Dental Associates?
