POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Endodontist, you will work alongside our team of multi-specialty providers to diagnose and treat issues related to the dental pulp and root tissues. You will work closely with general dentists and other specialist to provide patients with high-quality patient-centered care including root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic procedures using microscopes and advanced technologies and techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of specialty practice experience; prior leadership or mentoring experience in a clinical setting
  • Active and unrestricted state dental license and DEA
  • Specialty certificate
  • A commitment to providing patient-centered care that integrates oral health with overall health and well-being
  • Strong ethical grounding in patient care and confidentiality
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to participate actively in continual improvement of the clinic’s operations
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $312,000.00 - $490,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat conditions related to the dental pulp, nerves, and surrounding tissues
  • Perform complex root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic microsurgery
  • Interpret digital radiographs and 3D imaging (CBCT) for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Educate patients about treatment options, post-procedure care, and preventative measures
  • Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records and patient documentation
  • Collaborate with referring general dentists and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write prescriptions for antibiotics or other medications
  • Oversee various administrative tasks as related to the extended dental team
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending CE workshops
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
