Job Summary: Provides patient care for the unit/department by optimizing operations and organizational efficiencies while promoting a world class environment. Essential Job Duties: 1. Communicate and collaborate with RN and other multidisciplinary departments to coordinate the appropriate care for the endoscopy patients in the most efficient and highest quality manner. 2. Follow all relevant specialty, federal requirements, and hospital policies and procedures, when caring for the patient and performing other tasks. 3. Participate in unit and hospital wide Performance Improvement activities and unit based council 4. Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment. 5. Provide education and be a resource to other staff members, students and new orientees. 6. Pursue lifelong education, staying current on professional changes and best practices for Endoscopy. 7. Be responsible for your FTE Hours. 8. Maintain financial responsibility in helping to stay within the unit’s budget. 9. Communicate any issues with equipment and supplies with Nurse Manager. Secondary Job Duties: 1.
