Responsibilities The Surgical/Endo technician in the Institute for Digestive Health and Liver Disease is a member of the peri-operative team and participates in the delivery of quality patient care to patients having endoscopic gastrointestinal procedures. Under the supervision of the registered nurse and/or the gastroenterologist, the Endo tech performs selected, delegated patient care procedures. Care provided includes procedure set-up, assistance, scope processing and other unit needs under the supervision of the charge RN and Lead Procedure Tech.
