Job Summary: Assist in basic and complex endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures, including motility studies, by preparing equipment, providing technical support to medical staff, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining cleanliness and sterility of the procedure rooms.  Support the mission and vision of the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and that of the Department. Tasks: * Greet, receive, and create a positive experience for every patient/family by demonstrating a professional, caring, empathetic and friendly approach following the service excellence standards and guidelines. * Prepare patients for basic and complex endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures (e.g., Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Transbronchial Lung Biopsy (TBLB), Endoscopic Ultrasound/ Fine Needle Aspiration (EUS/FNA), Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) , and motility studies cases. Record vital signs and educate patients about procedures. * Assist physicians and nurses during procedures, including patient positioning and record vital signs and educate patients about procedures. * Prepare and charge used supplies accurately during the procedure.  * Ensure proper preparation, labeling, and handling of specimens. * Maintain supplies by organizing and replenishing procedure rooms daily to ensure availability, promptly report shortages and equipment malfunctions, order necessary supplies as needed, and conduct unit supplies inventory on a periodic basis. * Clean and disinfect items, equipment, and scopes as required abiding by the infection control and safety policies in the unit and medical center. * Perform other related duties as requested by direct supervisor. Experience: Minimum Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience as Junior Endoscopy Technician at AUBMC or 3 - 5 years of experience as Endoscopy Technician in a similar healthcare setting. Languages: Minimum Languages: Arabic and English (IET >/= 500). Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
