Responsibilities Provides a full range of vascular surgical care to patients of Legacy Health System. Such care is provided in an office, outpatient, or inpatient setting and includes the full and expected mix of patient problems and surgical approaches. Provides vascular trauma care to patients within the context of the Legacy Emanuel Hospital Level 1 Trauma Center. Provides “non-trauma” coverage on an “on-call” capacity for Emanuel and Good Samaritan hospitals. Provides office follow up of vascular patients. Provides consultation on vascular surgical issues. Participates in the education program for OHSU surgical residents. Participates in Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs as appropriate for clinical practice. Participates on relevant committees as requested. Participates in community outreach activities regarding Legacy’s vascular surgery services. Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion. Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult and elderly/geriatric patients. Works with other specialists (radiology, cardiology) to develop a comprehensive Legacy vascular disease program. Qualifications Education: Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent. Completion of general surgery residency. Fellowship in vascular surgery. Endovascular training. Licensure Medical License, DEA, BLS for the applicable state. Membership on LPH Medical Staff. Board Certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. CPR certification. ATLS preferred. Pay Range USD $0.00 - USD $0.00 /Hr.
