The Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY), seeks a full-time Construction Project Manager Level II in the Bureau of Facilities
Management. Reporting directly to the Director of Construction, the successful candidate must be certified for Energy Management and
Sustainability (EFS) with a specialization in Building Design + Construction or Operations + Maintenance. The candidate will: Maintain a
management information system to provide data for planning and control for project development. Responsible for visiting job sites and
preparing a detailed preliminary scope of work, with project time and cost schedules. Coordinate all activities between the agencies and
departments responsible for project completion. Review all schedules, reports and orders prepared by consultants, contractors and agencies to
assure conformance with project completion dates. Review work performance and prepare management reports which stress significant
problems. Resolve problems that arise in meeting schedules and costs. Work with Director of Construction and Design on the entire
procurement cycle of a project scope.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED SKILLS
A Valid New York State Driver’s License. The ability to read constructions drawings and documents, Blueprints, climb ladders, and crawl spaces.
