Description

Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Program Coordinator to join our growing team in Des Moines, IA. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Efficiency Program Coordinator with a strong background in energy programs, contractor coordination, and customer service to support the delivery of impactful, utility-sponsored initiatives. As an Energy Efficiency Program Coordinator, you will help customers save energy and reduce costs by ensuring programs are delivered efficiently, contractors are supported, and customers receive the maximum benefit. This role is critical to maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and meeting program goals and compliance requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be located or willing to relocate to the greater Des Moines, IA area
  • Must be able to work 8-hour shift as assigned within the hours of 7 am to 6 pm
  • 2+ years previous customer service and data entry experience required
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Results-driven and able to collaborate across all levels of an organization to deliver on commitments and meet objectives
  • Able to meet deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities and evolving business needs
  • Experience with various Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, OneNote and Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment

PREFERRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or project coordination preferred
  • Experience working with utility-sponsored rebate or incentive programs is a plus

The compensation range for this exempt position is $30,000 - 40,000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity.
Employment with Resource Innovations is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check. If applicable to the position, a pre-employment drug screen may also be required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system of applications, rebates and other supporting documents.
  • Communicate effectively as part of team approach with other departments in servicing customers.
  • Taking customer service calls in pursuit of first call resolution.
  • Data Entry - enter data into various database applications.
  • Provide customer service activities such as responding to emails and phone calls.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and call handling in a customer centric environment.
  • Safeguard confidential customer information.
  • May provide peer training to co-workers and job shadowing support as assigned in area of responsibility.
  • Willing to support any program within the department as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
