DO YOU WANT YOUR WORK TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR NSW?
Ensuring a sustainable NSW through climate change and energy action
We’re looking for two Energy Emergency Management Officers to support readiness, response and recovery for energy and utilities in all emergencies across NSW.
As part of our dynamic Energy Infrastructure team, you’ll contribute to all-hazards emergency coordination across electricity, gas, liquid fuels, water, and wastewater. This includes participating in an on-call roster, deploying emergency response measures, and working closely with emergency services and industry partners to implement plans, manage consequences, and safeguard essential services.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for a proactive and resilient individual with experience across the emergency management lifecycle – ideally with preparedness, response, and recovery. Knowledge of AIIMS and NSW emergency management arrangements is valuable.
With experience operating in high-pressure emergency environments and collaborating across agencies, you’ll also have developing skills in planning, risk identification, and stakeholder engagement, and a strong understanding of multi-agency coordination and operational procedures.
Ideally, you will bring insights and perspective on how disruptions across electricity, gas, liquid fuels, water and wastewater sectors affect critical services and community safety.
