UW Facilities manages the University’s buildings, infrastructure and land, with more than 1,100 employees in a variety of fields. The Asset Management group includes Capital & Space Management, Real Estate, Sustainability and other teams responsible for planning and workload management. The Operations group includes Project Delivery, Maintenance & Construction, Campus Energy, Utilities & Operations, Building Services, Transportation Services and Safety. Supporting these groups are the Business Intelligence & Information Technology group and the Finance & Administration group.
Campus Energy, Utilities & Operations has an outstanding opportunity for Facilities Energy Engineers, Energy Conservation to provide engineering and technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and recommending energy saving capital investments in the University of Washington facilities and campus infrastructure . This position conducts facility energy assessments and audits involving operational observation, testing, evaluation and measurement of energy consuming equipment, systems and controls. This position is responsible for the monitoring and management of campus energy consumption. This position prepares capital scope, schedule and budget documents required to realize such investments. This position is essential to UW commitments to reduce utility consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
