Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Engineering Intern to join our growing team in Toronto, ON. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Engineering Intern with a strong background in engineering analysis to join our dynamic team. As an Energy Engineering Intern, you will providing technical support in the evaluation of demand side management (DSM) programs by analyzing program impacts and producing actionable recommendations. This is a cooperative education placement beginning in January 2026 and ending in April 2026, with the potential to extend the placement into Summer 2026. Duties and Responsibilities Junior engineering and analysis support; data collection, energy analyses, and project research. Primary and secondary data collection efforts, as well as data analysis. Conduct evaluation, measurement and verification (EM&V) activities for installed energy efficiency measures. Support and assist with input for technical reports by contributing to draft reports, including results and actionable recommendations. Support senior staff with the development of presentations and reports Other duties as assigned. Be a current student registered in a post-secondary STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics) or business program in Canada. Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada. Be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations. Consent to release placement information to Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) and the Government of Canada during and after the placement. Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment. Compensation & Benefits Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The base salary for this position is $28.00 per hour. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes three weeks of paid vacation per year; paid holidays; a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching; health, dental and vision insurance; and other supplemental benefits.
