As an Energy & Environmental Analyst at Kmart Group, you’ll be:

  • Document and maintain process flows for Kmart Group’s energy, water and waste data.
  • Adherence to mandated company policies and minimum standards, seeking alignment with Wesfarmers group policies
  • Take responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of the Basis of Reporting documents.
  • Ensuring that databases holding energy, water and waste data are organised, administered and maintained.
  • Manage the collection, communication, and implementation of systems and processes for internal data collection, while interpreting and analysing the data to derive insights and recommend sustainable business initiatives.
  • Take the lead in any systems implementation/integration initiatives relating to energy, water and waste dat
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As an Energy & Environmental Analyst at Kmart Group, you’ll be:

  • Document and maintain process flows for Kmart Group’s energy, water and waste data.
  • Adherence to mandated company policies and minimum standards, seeking alignment with Wesfarmers group policies
  • Take responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of the Basis of Reporting documents.
  • Ensuring that databases holding energy, water and waste data are organised, administered and maintained.
  • Manage the collection, communication, and implementation of systems and processes for internal data collection, while interpreting and analysing the data to derive insights and recommend sustainable business initiatives.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL HAVE:

  • Highly regarded experience in data collection and reporting for National Greenhouse Energy Reporting (NGER) and ethical sourcing audit programs, with strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable strategy.
  • Skilled at streamlining processes and enhancing controls to ensure accurate, complete, and transparent data.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, identify trends and develop insights
  • Sustainability or retail experience – highly regarded.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau.
