As a Sales Representative/Energy Marketer at ATCO Energy, reporting to the Sales Manager, Business Sales, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets associated with business customer acquisition and margin through a customer-centric, consultative sales approach within Alberta’s deregulated retail electricity and natural gas market.

Responsibilities

Developing Sales Strategy: Leveraging ATCO’s strong brand presence in Alberta, you will make valuable contributions to ATCO Energy’s overall sales strategy by, focusing on the acquisition of new natural gas and electricity customers within the small business, commercial, and light industrial sectors. Provide market insights to leadership based on knowledge so the company is better positioned to support your success.
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain customer and prospect relationships based on energy assessments, and successfully delivering on their service requirements. Cultivate and nurture positive customer engagement and collaborate with other ATCO business lines to add value for our customers and our company.
Sales Strategy Implementation: Execute the organization’s sales process/strategy in your assigned territory, seeking new opportunities through prospecting and referrals. Networking and represent ATCO Energy at various events and presentations.
Commercial Agreements: Grow your sales, knowledge and customer relationship skills to meet specific sales targets for volume, margin, and term. Negotiate and close gas and electricity contracts within set parameters for small and medium businesses.
