The Opportunity In this role you will: Be a visible leader on site, responsible for oversight of all related Power and Energization activities Partner closely with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to drive Operational Excellence in the Control of Hazardous Energy Review safety documentation and conduct audits to ensure safe conditions and practices throughout the energy program Support electrical infrastructure management throughout the data center campus Train new and existing employees in defined Energy Isolation process and procedure Work with construction and commissioning teams to ensure safe working conditions to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of MEP systems We would love to hear from you if you: Hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering science discipline. Have demonstrated experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving substantial MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems—ideally within the hyperscale data center or other critical infrastructure projects. Have experience in MV switching, construction and commissioning standards and practices, including life-saving system engineering principles. Have extensive experience as a Senior Authorized Person managing electrical distribution and switching activities. Understand electrical engineering principles, including breaker coordination studies, switchgear sequence of operations, and local electrical codes. Are familiar with CSA and mechanical engineering principles related to cooling systems, including relevant statutory compliance. Bring strong experience in general contractor and vendor management, including RFPs, bidding processes, and change orders during construction and execution phases. Have worked on international projects and demonstrate a strong awareness of cultural, diversity, and inclusivity considerations in large-scale program delivery. Responsibilities
