Your Role: The type of work you can expect to be involved in as a summer student: Learning to code in C#, taking on an independent project involving software development and/or data analysis Leveraging the expertise of our energy experts to build an understanding of energy data Investigating and analysing complex datasets Engaging with modern software development practices such as workflow management, code reviews, branching and merging, testing Expanding skills and knowledge through regular training and on-the-job coaching What We’re Looking For: A Level Maths A Grade Studying for a Degree in a Numerical subject and on track to achieve a 2:1 Some programming experience with coding languages such as Python or C# Competence with Microsoft Excel and data analysis Problem solving, numeracy and analytical skills Good communication skills An interest in the energy transition and an awareness of topical issues Why should you choose LCP?
