Energy Program Developer The Office of Energy and Environment within the Ohio Department of Development is presently hiring for an Energy Program Developer to join a team of dedicated individuals who help drive Ohio's energy future through innovation, efficiency, and community impact. What you’ll be doing: Provide technical assistance and guidance on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and advanced energy technologies. Implement and monitor state energy programs and initiatives. Review and evaluate energy projects for compliance, effectiveness, and impact. Develop, monitor, and improve energy programs, guidelines, and standards. Prepare reports, proposals, and funding request for state and federal agencies. Represent the department at meetings, conferences, and public forums. Conduct on-site monitoring visits to evaluate project performance and quality. Conduct community outreach in relation to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and advanced energy projects. Provide professional customer service, maintaining transparency, accountability, and inclusivity. Completion of graduate core program in business administration/public administration, environmental/energy sciences or mechanical engineering; 12 months training or 12 months experience in analyzing/monitoring energy programs and technologies dealing with energy programs commensurate with approved PD on file; must be able to provide own transportation. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration/public administration, environmental/energy sciences or mechanical engineering; 24 months training or 24 months experience in analyzing/monitoring energy programs and technologies dealing with energy programs commensurate with approved PD on file; must be able to provide own transportation. -Or 48 months training or 48 months experience in building technology or analyzing/monitoring energy programs and technologies dealing with energy programs commensurate with approved PD on file; must be able to provide own transportation.
Responsibilities
