ABOUT US
The Energy Management Team coordinates all aspects of energy and water management for Buckinghamshire Council , with the primary aims of improving the sustainable management of these resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The Energy Management Team is part of the Communities Directorate of Buckinghamshire Council within Corporate Property and Assets Service area, the team is composed of four full time officers and a team leader. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Energy and Resources Officer has key responsibility for the management, monitoring, and reporting of the councils renewable and on-site generation initiatives across the estate, including the continued efficient operation of the Council’s biomass and solar PV installations. The Energy and Resources Officer also supports in the identification, development and delivery of energy and water related projects within the service, including directly managing projects, where appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, energy and water efficiency, procurement and contract management, process development, data analysis and reporting, providing technical support and guidance.
