job summary:
Join one of the world’s most recognizable companies as an Energy Safety Manager in the Southhill area. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety for hazardous energy programs. You will also plan project activities in engineering, safety assurance and quality control. This is a long term contractor role with the opportunity for growth and career stability.

responsibilities:

  • Ensure that vendors and contractor safety programs for hazardous energy meets company standards
  • Work closely with internal and external staff to correct any gaps within programs
  • Coordinate and participate in program meetings
  • Ensure that procedures are in place and being followed
  • Perform field audits of sites

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with safety programs such as SPS 101 Energy Isolation
  • 10+ years of experience in DC construction and commissioning
