Join World Fuel’s Marine business as an Energy Transition Executive, where you’ll lead the charge in helping global shipping and cruise operators transition to low-carbon fuels and meet evolving environmental regulations. This is a high-impact, forward-thinking role that blends strategy, technical insight, and commercial expertise. You’ll help shape the future of marine energy by advancing alternative fuels like biofuels, LNG, methanol, ammonia, and hydrogen, while ensuring compliance with key regulations such as EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, and IMO decarbonisation measures. What You’ll Be Doing Strategic & Commercial Development Identify and develop new business opportunities across the cruise and marine sectors. Lead innovation in low-carbon fuel solutions (FAME, HVO, LNG, methanol, future fuels). Design commercial offerings that align fuel availability with emissions targets. Collaborate with internal teams on sourcing, blending, and certification (ISCC, RSB). Deliver comparative fuel assessments (carbon intensity, cost, operational impact). Create tailored energy transition roadmaps for customers. Contribute to infrastructure investment and strategic port initiatives. Project Execution & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the key contact for customer-facing decarbonisation projects. Coordinate execution across ESG, legal, supply, and operations teams. Track regulatory developments and ensure compliance. Maintain CRM data and support bids and tenders. Regulatory & Sustainability Expertise Provide insights on maritime regulations (EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, IMO CII/GFI). Support emissions modelling and lifecycle carbon assessments.
