Job Description Key Responsibilities: Cloud Development: Develop and implement cloud-based backend applications and architectures. API Integration: Build REST APIs and manage integrations with third-party service providers. Data Pipelines: Design and deploy robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Node.js. AWS Management: Optimize data infrastructure and workflows within AWS. Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards through rigorous testing, code versioning, and CI/CD best practices. Continuous Improvement: Implement industry-standard tools and "value-added" best practices to enhance system performance. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field Strong project management and organizational skills Proven experience with Node.js Experience developing on AWS Expertise in AWS SDK for JavaScript (Node.JS) Experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, Lambda, EC2, VPC, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS, SQS, Route53 Familiarity relational databases such as MySQL Desired AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Developer – Associate; AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Additional Information The Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination. Responsibilities
The Data Engineer will develop and implement cloud-based backend applications and architectures, build REST APIs, and design robust ETL/ELT pipelines. Additionally, they will optimize data infrastructure within AWS and ensure high standards through testing and CI/CD practices.
