This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check The successful candidate can apply for the WWCC as part of the onboarding process. In the case the selected candidate doesn’t have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Implement Communications and Engagement Strategy: Contribute to AFSE’s strategy, supporting and promoting events to stakeholders and community members.
  • Coordinate AFSE Hub engagement: Serve as the key point of contact for space management, bookings, and user support within the AFSE Hub.
  • Organise Impactful Events: Collaborate with Fellows and University stakeholders to develop events that showcase Fellows’ work and program impact.
  • Support Indigenous Initiatives: Support engagement in events celebrating Indigenous communities and contribute to advancing targets set in the Murmuk Djerring Indigenous Strategy.
