The Engagement Center Specialist (ECS) is responsible for coordinating, scheduling and registering patient appointments, which may include office visits, ancillary testing and education. ECS acts as a first point of contact for patients/customers, and assists with matching patients’ needs to an appropriate provider. The position is responsible for transitioning patient inquiries into a scheduled appointment. Through superior customer service, skills are utilized to proactively resolve patient concerns/issues. ECS is passionate in service to others, committed to advocating for patients, and displays a professional and caring demeanor. The ability to compassionately engage in conversation with patients on their responsibilities for copayment, prepayment and outstanding balances.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required High School Diploma/GED
• 2 years Healthcare experience Preferred
• 1 year Knowledge of health insurance Preferred
