ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the disability sector
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS framework
  • Experience in administration and report writing
  • Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Vulnerable People Card
  • Police Check (current)
  • First Aid & CPR certification

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engagement Liaison Officer / Independent Living Coordinator to join our expanding team. This is a full-time position that offers flexibility between working across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and within our head office.As the Engagement Liaison Officer, you will act as a vital link between the executive team, frontline staff, participants, and stakeholders. You will play a key role in maintaining quality service delivery, ensuring compliance, supporting staff, and enhancing participant outcomes through effective coordination and communication.This position is best suited to someone with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the NDIS, and previous experience managing teams in a disability support setting.Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between the executive team, field staff, participants, and external stakeholders.
  • Support participants in living as independently as possible, in alignment with their goals and NDIS plans.
  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of multiple SIL homes.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of 20+ support workers.
  • Monitor service delivery quality and ensure compliance with NDIS and internal standards.
  • Prepare reports, including participant updates and monthly reports.
  • Work collaboratively with the Dahlia Homes office team to ensure the highest standard of care and support.
  • Assist with staff onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing training as needed.
  • Support rostering and general administrative duties where required.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, respect, and continuous improvement.
