EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, fundraising, or related business development roles.
• Proven track record of donor cultivation or client relationship development.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Virtuous).

SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS

• Customer- and mission-focused with a passion for ending poverty through enterprise.
• High emotional intelligence and cross-cultural awareness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset.
• Comfortable with public speaking and event coordination.

THE ROLE

The Engagement Manager, Canada, plays a pivotal role in cultivating the human and financial resources that fuel our global work. This position focuses on major donor development and volunteer recruitment, ensuring our growing partnership network is resourced with passionate supporters and experienced business professionals. You’ll work with high-capacity donors, inspire businesspeople to engage globally, and help build a thriving network of individuals committed to ending poverty through enterprise.
