As an Engagement Manager II, you will be responsible for: * Being the strategist and technical advisor to architects and technology leaders of Akamai's Premium customers * Partnering with Sales and pre-sales to make recommendations that expand adoption of Akamai's products and services * Maximizing customer satisfaction, retention, and growth based on the customer's needs and business requirements * Being the central point of contact for the customer and lead account team to deliver customer success * Responding to escalations when various product, platform or implementation arise and identifying improvements to mitigate future risks * Being the customer champion internally, and influencing internal decisions within teams to help customer outcomes Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: * Have 6 to 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science/Engineering or relevant fields. * Be a customer advocate passionate about delivering technical solutions * Have knowledge of internet technologies and online industry including HTTPS, DNS, DevOps, Web Development and Web Security * Demonstrate good understanding or prior experience of working with CDNs * Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry * Demonstrate communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers across various levels * Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment * Demonstrate experience in Program or Project management in a cross functional and technical team Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
