GLG’s Industrials and Growth Research business serves clients in sectors such as industrials, chemicals, minerals, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and retail, equipping them with critical insights for informed decision-making and successful investments. By leveraging both quantitative and qualitative research capabilities, we deliver timely and thorough insights that empower our clients.

POSITION OVERVIEW: ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

GLG is seeking an Engagement Manager to drive success within its Research business, focusing on Industrials and Growth clients. In this role, you will design research projects tailored to GLG’s sophisticated client base and oversee a team to execute these projects to the highest standards. Projects typically involve qualifying and quantifying industry trends through pipeline analyses, commercial assessments, product forecasting, and marketplace investigations. You will be motivated to execute research design rapidly across diverse topics, mentor junior professionals, and cultivate client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 4-6 years of market research experience, particularly in online surveys including proficiency with online survey platforms (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics).
  • Experience in a client-facing role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Market research experience in industrials, chemicals, minerals, CPG, or retail.
  • Ability to analyze results and communicate quantitative methodologies.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, survey design, and quantitative research methodologies .
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior members.
  • Proven track record in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, client-servicing environment.
  • Strong understanding of GLG’s clients and sectors
