Veteran Technology Leaders (VTL) is seeking an Engagement Specialist to support VTL and our government customer in the RI area.
This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business or related technology field (Computer Science, Business Management, Communications, Organizational Change, Engineering, etc); higher-level degree preferred
  • A minimum of 5-years experience in senior stakeholder management and business relationship management.
  • Proven experience leading, managing and growing large scale user experience and development projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft platforms and applications

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience implementing a marketplace for health insurance coverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a highly capable Engagement Specialist to ensure that we help our client deliver on the benefits offered by a health insurance marketplace platform. You’ll be part of a team of professionals who deliver more than just technological solutions. You will rise above and beyond to constantly finding better ways for our client organization to work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS AN ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST:

  • Liaise with Clients: Engagement specialists oversee the client relationships with the business, engaging as the first point of contact. They help clients implement services and projects, define best approaches per and help senior stakeholders make decisions for continued service improvement.
  • Business Relationship Management: On-going business relationship management is key for an engagement specialist. Relationships will have to be managed across all service lines including external vendors and clients.
  • Analyze Business Data: Engagement Specialists help analyze status, review financial data, and project data allowing for more accurate and focused reporting.
  • Prepare Reports & Improve Performance: Engagement specialists manage client reporting, keeping everyone aligned on resourcing and timescale. They help communicate the achievements and goals met as well as highlight ongoing improvements for both the clients and technology.
  • Internal Alignment: A key duty will be aligning the various processes to work efficiently together in outputting all the necessary requirements for business change delivery. This will mean open two-way communication between all stakeholder teams.
