The Team
Working Together – supporting early learning program is a Tasmanian Government
initiative offering eligible three-year-olds the opportunity to participate in
free quality early learning experiences.
About the Role
As part of the Working Together program, Engagement Workers will work
collaboratively with parents and caregivers, community groups, and local, state,
and federal agencies to support local three-year-olds and their families to
access quality early learning in early childhood education and care (ECEC) and
school settings.
Engagement Workers will focus on building trust and connections with children
and families who may be at risk of experiencing vulnerability to help achieve
improved outcomes in child wellbeing and education. Working in partnership with
the Working Together team, service partners’ staff and community services more
broadly to achieve effective approaches to family engagement and community
connection.

Essential
* Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a
registration Status – Employment
* A current Driver’s Licence
Desirable
* An appropriate qualification, such as a qualification in social work,
community development or community services or a related discipline.
