Fortinet is seeking a skilled Engine/Software Developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of our security product, FortiDeceptorToken. This role involves working on cutting-edge security technologies, with a focus on malware detection and evasion techniques. The team is open to intermediate and senior level candidates for this position.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• At least 3 years’ of relevant software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in RUST programming
• Experience with C/C++
• Proficiency in Development under Windows/Linux/MacOS
• Knowledge of version control systems
• Knowledge of Windows internals is a plus
• Experience reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, OllyDbg/WinDBG) is a plus
• Motivation to learn new technologies and the courage to explore uncharted territories
• Ability to work well in a team and independently

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with relevant work experience

• Develop tokens for popular software and lure attackers into revealing themselves.
• Develop tools to detect stolen credential usage, lateral movement, or any other attacks.
• Conduct research on latest malware techniques (After training).
• Analyze and reverse engineer a variety of malware (After training).
• Collaborate with team members to integrate product functionality.
