We are looking for a talented Apprentice - Engine Workshop Technician to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business Segment in Pinetown (Durban). In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: • Support Workshop Operations: By assisting with general workshop activities, you’ll help ensure smooth and efficient operations. • Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Your efforts in cleaning, inspecting, and disassembling will contribute to a safe and organized work environment. • Master Repair Techniques: Learning Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and following procedures will enable you to perform basic repairs and maintenance effectively. • Accurate Documentation: Assisting with documentation, such as work completed forms and time sheets, will ensure accurate record-keeping and data management. • Skill Development: Completing training aligned with skill and business requirements will enhance your capabilities and value to the team. • Tool and Equipment Care: Maintaining cleanliness and proper operation of tools will prolong their lifespan and ensure they are always ready for use. • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures will help maintain a safe workplace and prevent incidents. • Proactive Reporting: Reporting any issues or incidents to your supervisor will contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving within the workshop.
