We’re seeking skilled workshop technicians to join our Campbellfield team, specialising in engine repairs and maintenance with our automotive on-highway customers.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimal level of workshop experience required
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

  • Perform hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance on the latest Cummins diesel engines
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Work with other major Heavy Duty truck OEM’s such as Kenworth & Western Star
  • Build your technical expertise with on-the-job training and OEM support

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:

  • Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification – Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
