JOB SUMMARY The Engineer is responsible for the repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, room preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical equipment systems.. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES • Conduct room Preventive Maintenance of hotel rooms, building and equipment. • Replacing of broken bedroom fixtures & fittings. • Carrying out general repairs and maintenance • Ensure all job tasks relating to guest comfort, guest satisfaction must be treated with utmost priority. • Perform preventive maintenance all areas of the hotel, including front and back of the house. • Comply with all statutory local legislation and regulation, in particular building Fire safety regulations. • Take responsibility for equipment onsite ensuring that they are maintained and ready to use at all times. • Must be available for weekends and holidays based on operation requirements. • Follow Marriott’s customer service principles and brand standards. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to stand, bend, walk, use hands. Lift boxes up to 30lbs.
