Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Implement and maintain EHS programs in compliance with corporate requirements, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and applicable legal regulations. * Support EHS activities for the new Business Unit, including construction, commissioning, and operational phases as applicable. * Conduct routine EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments; monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure. * Coordinate and support statutory EHS training, safety awareness programs, and mandatory certifications for employees and contractors. * Act as secretary to the EHS Committee, including meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up of action items. * Liaise with relevant authorities on EHS-related matters, inspections, and reporting requirements under the guidance of the EHS Manager. * Monitor and oversee the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and industrial waste in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. * Support process safety and engineering activities by participating in hazard identification, risk analysis, and implementation of control measures. * Assist in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Prepare and maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation to support compliance, audits, and management reviews.
