This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Design (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team. Descrição do emprego Adherence to product configuration rules. Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation. Design for manufacturing of 3D CAD models (composite or metallic materials). Develop CAD models in support of testing and certification activities. Ensure the compliance with project requirements and quality processes. Evaluate inputs to ensure an adequate selection of materials, treatments and production techniques for each application. Generate Bill of Materials in support of the production and purchasing/logistics process. Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems. Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as: The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status. Provide work estimates and projections Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs. Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs. Reduce overall costs by applying a lean philosophy to processes and choice of design solutions. Habilitações Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent. Previous experience working with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx, Solidworks), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools. Good knowledge of structural sizing analyses’ techniques and concepts. Fluent in English (mandatory). Proven experience in the development of components/products (nice to have). Good knowledge of materials and production techniques (nice to have). Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential.
