KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience working in an audio engineering or broadcast environment
• Familiar with audio processing , multiplexing , and broadcast distribution
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and system integrations
• Experience using diagnostic tools and problem-solving in high-pressure scenarios
• Previous involvement in managing external vendors or contractors
• Experience with project tools and delivering technical solutions to deadlinesDegree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is beneficial

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and optimise new and existing audio processing solutions
• Provide expert technical input into the development and deployment of audio infrastructure
• Design and drive deployment processes that ensure seamless roll-out of audio services
• Deliver re-engineering and customer projects across broadcast and satellite audio platforms
• Lead or support on system design for new product development and cloud integrations
• Act as Design Authority (DA) for audio-related workstreams; Lead Design Authority (LDA) on smaller projects
• Supervise and manage 3rd party contractors to ensure delivery meets Arqiva’s standards
• Document build procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of technical policies
• Ensure audio systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Apply analytical problem-solving to quickly resolve operational and technical issues
• Collaborate across product, engineering, and operations teams to support new deployments
