Our client is the IT department of a division of an international bank based in Zurich. We are looking for a test automation professional (m/f/d) as Engineer Automation Tester Aufgaben Take an active role in test automation as part of a team consisting of test engineers, business architects and project management specialists / The focus of the role is on implementing strategic initiatives and new and updated tools / Continuously write automated test scripts based on the specifications received in order to increase the level of automation / Ensure that automated test cases are run until they run error-free / Perform detailed analyses and validations and carry out user acceptance tests (UAT) / Improve the automation framework / Support the Implementation, maintenance and improvement of CI/CD / Support the team in its project management activities and assist with ongoing change management processes / Contribute to quality assurance in the core banking systems / Offer training and workshops on the tools introduced, both to internal and external stakeholders, when needed / Ad hoc projects. Qualifikation Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics or Information Technology / Substantial experience in test automation gained in a bank, major asset management company or leading consultancy firm / Interest in creating and maintaining automated test cases / Knowledge of one of the core banking systems Avaloq, Finnova or SimCorp is advantageous / Understanding of system architectures and programming language fundamentals, including VBA, SQL and PL/SQL, APIs are required / Experience with CI/CD pipelines / Ability to understand business and technical functions, as well as processing information quickly / Strong analytical and problem-solving skills / Interest in working independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders / Proven ability to deliver projects on time, accurately and with integrity / Interest in finding new ways to improve processes and results / Ability to communicate and present skilfully / Fluency in German and English.
