Responsibilities

Transport for London (TfL) Engineers are always looking forward. Join us in our Transport Systems Engineering teams and, as well as maintaining legacy assets, you’ll deliver new systems and solutions. There’s more to it than tubes, roads, buildings, and bridges. This is about connecting communities and creating opportunities, so we’re ready for the 21st century and beyond.
Day-to-day, you will be part of the Track Engineering Team delivering work packages and technical solutions that go towards ensuring a safe and reliable experience for our customers. Using previous experience of delivering track engineering for a renewal’s organisation, you’ll ensure assets are safe, working and compliant; develop your own solutions; and be a trusted source of engineering advice for everyone, including our Heads of Engineering Delivery.

You will need to communicate and interface with key stakeholders including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Delivery teams, and maintainers.

  • Although the role will nominally be working days, there may also be a requirement for ad-hoc, unsocial hours.
