Description
Responsibilities: Utilise BIM software tools to develop detailed models of road and bridge infrastructure projects. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate BIM processes into project workflows effectively. Create and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) to ensure project deliverables align with client requirements and industry standards. Conduct clash detection analyses and resolve coordination issues within BIM models to enhance project efficiency. Assist in the implementation of BIM-based asset management strategies for infrastructure assets throughout their life cycle. Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software applications and methodologies. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BIM technology, recommending innovative solutions to improve project outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Contribute to the development of standard procedures and best practices for BIM implementation within the organisation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum two years’ working experience in preparing models and/or civil site/design experience. Graduate Technologists or Qualified Technician (registered under MBOT preferred). Proven proficiency in BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley, MicroStation or similar tools. Knowledge of 3D modelling software (e.g. SketchUp, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) is a plus. Familiarity with Malaysian construction codes, standards, and regulations. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in BIM modelling and documentation.
