Description

Coordinates with HAMM QA/QC Engineer to plan for quality assurance objectives and standardization of QA & QC activities. Identifies, reviews and analyses issues to resolve problems, determining improvement, and implementing change. Monitor compliance to the quality assurance objectives and plans. To analyse and report non-compliance and proposes improvements where necessary. Review new sub-contractor’s Quality and HSSE Management Plan before the commencement of work. Plan and conduct the annual quality inspection and audit to the approved plants, suppliers, and contractors. Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations. Coordination to be carried out amongst PLUS Regions, EIS Region and the pavement suppliers. Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Study and analyze the causes and effects of a quality related incident occurring in a project and/or at job site and updates it as a lesson learnt in the job knowledge repository. Perform risk management to identify the risk and develop action and mitigation plans to minimize project risks, collating and analyzing performance data against defined parameters. Establish and maintain effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders such as authorities and vendors to ensure smooth execution of project plan. Manages all projects’ issues related to QA/QC and escalate complex issues ensuring that the project stakeholders are kept updated with any issues that could impact and affect project outcomes and prepare Quality Report for Management Review test results (laboratory and site testing) against quality metrics and parameters and then to recommend or reject for verification for the completion of work.

Responsibilities

The engineer coordinates with the QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality assurance objectives are met and conducts audits and inspections of approved plants, suppliers, and contractors. They also analyze non-compliance issues and propose improvements while managing project-related QA/QC issues.
