Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Review and approve technical submittals, including drawings, calculations, and material specifications
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Analyze survey data and engineering submittals to identify and resolve potential issues
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain project standards
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Participate in project meetings and provide expert technical advice
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the team
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction supervision and management
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong technical knowledge in civil engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Experience with CAD software and project management tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and international construction standards
  • Familiarity with local construction regulations and practices in Dubai
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Valid engineering license or certification (if required in Dubai)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
