Description Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC, a Department of Defense contractor, is now hiring an Engineer to support a U.S. Navy program office providing technical and analytical support for aircraft carrier maintenance and modernization efforts. The selected candidate will provide technical support in the principles, techniques, and practices of mechanical engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, and/or naval architecture as they relate to aircraft carrier Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E), aviation, and electronic shipboard systems. You will support Government requirements related to Class Maintenance Plans (CMP), Baseline Availability Work Packages (BAWP), modernization planning, and lifecycle sustainment of non-nuclear systems. We are seeking a motivated, results-driven professional who can organize complex data and present findings clearly for evaluation and action. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Support development, revisions, and/or validation of various program office documentation including, but not limited to, ACCMP manuals, Expanded Ship’s Work Breakdown Structure (ESWBS) manuals, and Process Instructions. • Provide technical support for development, management, and refinement of non-nuclear CMPs and BAWPs to include life-cycle maintenance and modernization requirements. • Ensure maintenance technical requirements, periodicities, and associated configuration data remain current within assigned maintenance requirements. • Update maintenance history databases using Availability Work Package (AWP) completion data, including financial and material history. • Collect, manage, and analyze maintenance, modernization, schedule, risk, and/or cost (labor and materials) data for aircraft carriers. • Perform data analytics; run, prepare, and present reports on data and results of analyses. • Develop and maintain metrics and provide findings for evaluation and action. • Develop new tools, products, and techniques for managing, organizing, and displaying data. • Document new or updated processes and instructions; develop process guides using Microsoft or other appropriate applications. • Respond to data calls and queries from internal and external stakeholders. • Schedule, host, and administer meetings (face-to-face, telephone, or virtual). • Transfer data from external sources (paper or electronic) into Government databases. • Assist in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) related tasks. Requirements Education/Experience Requirements: -Bachelor's level degree in any engineering discipline -5 years professional experience in engineering -Data analytics & maintenance and modernization experience related to aircraft carriers, naval ships, or large ship design, construction, or maintenance SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: - U.S. Citizenship required. - Candidate must have active Secret Clearance These positions are contingent upon award of contract. “Contingent” offers for employment may stipulate those one or more requirements be satisfied before final commitment between candidate and Tamayo Federal is established; namely, award of contract to the Tamayo Federal Team.
