Engineer (Coastal)

Responsibilities

• Carry out desktop assessments for impacts to coastal ecosystems to assist in the planning and design of coastal engineering projects.
• Plan and design for EIAs, EMMPs, and coastal ecosystem restoration projects.
• Carry out project management of EIAs and EMMPs for coastal engineering projects.
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders and clients at both strategic and technical levels.
• Coordinate with project teams and other consultants/contractors for implementation and project management of coastal engineering projects.
• Support the pursuit of project proposals and tenders

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or any related discipline from a recognized institution
• Understanding of coastal engineering and environmental projects in the sector
• A good team player, able to multitask and work under pressure
• Self-motivated, versatile and resourceful
• Good organisation, communication and writing skills
• Prior experience in coastal engineering or environmental-related fields would be preferred
