Job Overview 综述 Process Engineer for Utsunomiya compounding operation Responsibilities 职责 Take responsibility for overall manufacturing process control for engineering polymer compounding, and work on process condition optimization and resolution of quality issue….etc. Lead Lean Continuous Improvement initiatives such as new raw material qualification and productivity improvement, Support new product commercialization and internal product transfer by working with global Core Technology Group. Strengthen Safety in operation(Process Hazard Risk Assessment, Machine Safety etc) by applying/adapting Celanese Standard Work Process Lead capital project with process design for compounding facility. Lead incident investigation (reliability, quality, EHS) in site with using Root Cause Analysis methodology. Coordinate customer communication for quality incident and related cases. Lead problem solving process for internal/external quality issue. Qualifications 要求 5+ years manufacturing technology experience in engineering plastic operation are preferred but not mandatory. Certified Black Belt and/or Green Belt is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent interpersonal communication skills both externally and internally, to effectively develop strong relationship. Bilingual (Japanese and English) Self-motivated and positive minded.

The engineer will oversee the manufacturing process control for engineering polymer compounding, focusing on process optimization and quality issue resolution. They will also lead continuous improvement initiatives and support new product commercialization.
