We both supply Ansys and provide extensive consulting services to support customer objectives and strengthen their inhouse capabilities. ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Masters/MEng level or higher degree in an engineering or science discipline with significant electromagnetics/electronics subject content.
  • Fundamental technical understanding of engineering principles
  • Minimum of 2 years experience using electromagnetics simulation software such as Ansys HFSS, Simulia CST or equivalent. This experience may be gained within university research and/or industry.
  • Industrial design or research knowledge in one or more of the following applications: PCB, Signal Integrity (SI), Power integrity (PI), Radio Frequency (RF), Antennas and/or EMC/EMI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present solutions clearly and convincingly to large and small, technical and non-technical, audiences at a senior level.
  • Self-motivation and the drive to achieve objectives.
  • Good team-player.Fluent in both a Nordic language and English.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Specific hands-on experience of Ansys electromagnetics and/or commercial EDA software (e.g. Altium) within a design context.
  • Knowledge and experience of simulation within other physics domains, such as optics or thermal analysis.
  • Industrial employment or secondment in an engineering environment, including working directly with customers.
Responsibilities
  • Support customers in implementing and using Ansys electromagnetics software.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer success.
  • Deliver training sessions and consulting projects to solve real-world engineering challenges.
  • Potential to also work on a variety of physics and engineering modeling challenges beyond electromagnetics, including FEA, optics, and CFD.
