This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be involved across the construction phase of civil and transport projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and our wider technical teams.   You’ll take on responsibilities as Engineer’s Representative and/or Site Engineer, playing a key role in project delivery while contributing to the growth and success of the business in a supportive, collaborative environment.   You will:   * Act as Engineer’s Representative and/or Site Engineer during construction phases, in line with NZ3910, contract conditions, and delegated authorities  * Prepare and administer contracts, including tender documentation, evaluation, and recommendations  * Project manage civil and transportation-related projects from construction through to completion  * Manage project controls including programme, risk, variations, cashflow, and reporting  * Prepare clear, well-structured technical reports and project documentation  * Support and mentor team members and contributing to Forward Works Programmes, Long Term Plans, and Asset Management Plans  * Build strong client relationships and ensuring expectations are consistently met    About you   * A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering  * 6+ years’ professional experience as an engineer in civil engineering, construction management, or closely related and relevant roles * Experience as a Resident Engineer or Project Engineer across a variety of infrastructure projects * Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear reports and engage effectively with clients and contractors * Client-focused, with a collaborative, team-first approach * A full, clean driver’s licence   This position is full time, 40 hours and 5 days per week.
